Millwork

DOORS
Doors are one of our fortes. With former trim carpenters as part of our mill staff we know every intricacy of hanging and machining doors. Whether matching hinge pockets on your new door to your old jamb or installing T-astragals & flush bolts on a pre-hung double door unit, we’ll do the hard part so you don’t have to.

WOOD FIRE DOORS
As one of the only companies in the area certified to machine wood fire doors, we have the ability to adapt size or add glass to your fire door while still giving you the peace of mind that you have not compromised safety.

CUSTOM MILLWORK
Custom Millwork requires an extensive and diverse set of skills and knowledge base. With backgrounds ranging from ship building to cabinet makers, the broad backgrounds of our craftsmen are as varied as the products they produce. Shutters, walking bridges, and home owner designed mantle brackets are just the beginning of what we can do.

WINDOW ASSEMBLY
With product shipping from across the U.S. certain windows and door units need to be shipped in pieces, such as a bow or bay window. We will assemble units and apply the necessary extension jambs in our mill so your installation is as quick and painless as possible.

CURVED CASING & JAMBS
Using our sophisticated micron machine we have the ability to mill many casing profiles under our own roof, which we find extremely helpful when making hardwood or MDF arch top & circle casing. Not to mention we have arch top door jambs down to a science.  We even have the ability to bend wood handrail for your spiral stairs.

WOOD STORMS & SCREENS
Our ability to manufacture traditional wood storm windows, screens, and porch screens has allowed us to retain some of the history we are so proud of. Whether reproducing a late 1800’s storm sash or giving a modern twist to a wood screen porch with custom cedar screens our early 1900’s mortise and tennon machines works as well as the day it was purchased. We pride ourselves on “building products the way they should be built.”

FIBERGLASS DOOR STAINING
The newest addition to our arsenal of mill services is our stain room for wood grained fiberglass doors.  Our carpenters have been trained by Therma-Tru to master the art of staining a fiberglass door.  And because we are finishing the door in house you are able to come in and approve the color before it is taken to your home.  From the prep work to the final sealing coat we will make sure your new entry door is exactly what you want it to be.

LEADED TAPING
If you are looking to replace windows in your classic tudor style home, you are in luck!  We hand apply lead tape to our sashes and doors for the preservation of historical homes, giving you the look you want for a fraction of the cost of an actual leaded window.
